Frequently Asked Questions

Why can’t I get POSTAL Redux on the Switch in Europe?

Unfortunately, Germany indexed all POSTAL games many years ago and since Nintendo of Europe is located in Germany, it is illegal for them to distribute the game.

We are working on the de-indexing process but in the meantime all we can suggest is to create a new account and switch region (US) so you can buy and play the game. We understand this is not the best solution, but it’s the only workable one we have at the moment.

Will POSTAL 2 ever get a remake?

Maybe……..it is what we were working on before we transitioned that project into POSTAL 4. Once P4 is done who knows….

Will POSTAL 2 ever get a console release?

Trust me when I say this, WE WANT POSTAL 2 ON AS MANY CONSOLES AS POSSIBLE, but it is just not going to happen. The engine it’s running on is VERY old and the game barely runs on PC as it is.

Releasing POSTAL 2 for consoles would only be possible in the form of a full remake, which as we addressed above is not in the current roadmap, but who knows what the future holds.

Are you developing Postal: Brain Damaged?

No. This spin-off game is being developed by Hyperstrange and CreativeForge Games. Running With Scissors came up with the concept but is co-publishing the game and supervising it during the development stages. BUT TRUST US, this is not an Akella situation.

When do you stream the ‘I Regret Nothing’ Podcasts?

Due to multiple reasons, we don’t have a fixed schedule for this.

We usually announce on our social media when we are about to stream. If you miss any of our podcasts, you can watch the replays on our official Youtube channel.

I have a question about POSTAL 3, whe-

Let us stop you right there and explain everything there needs to be said about that game. First of all, the game is shit. It wasn’t developed by us and it’s the result of a company taking our pride and joy just to turn it into trash. This video further explains what went wrong.

If you really want to play the game, you can buy it on Steam but we won’t get any money for it. If you want to get the game and support us, we still have it included in our Postal 20th Anniversary Edition. Contrary to what some say, we are NOT handing out keys for POSTAL 3 right now, please refrain from asking.

In closing, this was a chapter of POSTAL history that we keep joking about but wished it never happened. We will never remake the game or try to fix it.

Where can I post suggestions for POSTAL 4?

We keep an eye on as many places as possible. However, if you want a guarantee that we will see your suggestion, simply post it here in the Steam Forums.

I have a problem with POSTAL 4, what should I do?

First of all, be sure to check this thread. If your problem isn’t listed, be sure to post any crashes here and any bug reports here. Please do not forget to send us as much information as possible, if we don’t know your PC specs and further details about the bug/crash, we may not be able to help you. Thank you.

Why is POSTAL 4 so janky/laggy/etc?

As we’ve advertised in the store pages, POSTAL 4 is currently in Early Access. Usually, games in the Early Access program are still unfinished and still in active development. Being in an unfinished state, but still distributed, allows us to develop the game with the fans and get enough funding for it to become a better product.

As an Early Access game, we can’t have the luxury of leaving optimization to the very end (like normal development cycles), but we still want to keep players interested. So, as we keep developing POSTAL 4, we will always try to balance three major aspects: Optimization, Bug Fixing and Content Additions.

The benefits of buying the game right now – You pay less than full retail price, you get all base updates included and you can play before everyone else!

Where can I chat in real time with a developer?

You can contact our community manager on Discord (Zeron#6849) or just use the website’s chat system, in the lower left corner of the page. Please note that we may not be available at all times. If we’re not busy and you just want to have a casual conversation, feel free to contact us – but we will always prioritize those who need support for something we can help with.
