Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 question
« on: November 05, 2012, 12:42:01 PM »
I have this app, but I have no idea how to create a simple .cpp file with project.Just to calculate simple stuff etc.
(I have W8 x64 and dev-c++/mingw aren't workin')
Does anybody know /used this kind of stuff from Microsoft?
Thanks

Create an empty project/console application and you should be set for the basic stuff.

VS6 was the best VS, but really, Eclipse or a command-line something or another is way better.

Right click on your project -> Add -> New Item... -> C++ File (.cpp).

VS6 is the best? lolwut, I can't already use 2010 one, it's so old.

Six is a nice number, 2010 isn't.

or you could make your console apps in cygwin, the unix terminal emulator.  Be happy about it.
