From what I hear, the Linux version is kinda ropey on modern Distros due to some sound issues, and it's recommended you download the Desura Linux client and get the free MP from there (which as been updated).

How come the MP only has the same size as the SP?

To make sure it was still compatible with Postal 2 STP full, we needed to leave in all of the files and assets, all I removed was the SP maps and editor files, and altered the menu screen. I probably could have reduced the size a little, but for the sake of 100 mbs max or whatever it didn't seen worth the time.

No problem, we don't mind people doing this.  I find that most people that enjoy Postal 2 and it's mods will buy it in the end, be it on GoG.com, Desura or from us directly, whether it's because they played the free MP, or even just got it off a torrent site.  Most people are happy to support DRM free games they enjoy after all.

The last time i was on linux i downloaded the Free MP from one of those links, now i wanted to download it from Desura, but i only can find the full version to purchase...

Yeah you should be able to find it under Multiplayer demo, I think.
