Furfags and Other Shit I Don't Want To Get
« on: June 09, 2012, 09:08:11 AM »
For those of you who read regularly, you should know I am a member of the BDSM community. I enjoy a little kink, and I think everyone does to some extent. Handcuffs, whips, leather, chains, hair pulling and apple flavored ass butter, are all a part of our modern sexual selves. That being said, I am pretty open minded except for one group.

Furries: a documentary

Yeah, furfags just piss me right the fuck off. Their justifications are just completely null to the fact that they dress up like cartoon animals, in order to bust a nut. Many of you, could say the same thing of the leather daddy's and gimps of the BDSM community, but those people still return to semi-normal lives. They also have good communication skills outside of the community.

Why in the fucking hell does this, turn people on?

I think people don't get why this is an issue, until you understand that they want equal rights. I believe in letting your freak flag fly, but I don't want to deal with a loan officer, who is dressed like Bugs Bunny. I also, don't want to fucking go into a restaurant, and get waited on by a 7 foot unicorn with mental health issues. I never asked for any of these things, when I was growing up.

I don't work in my bondage gear. I don't sit here writing articles in a leather thong and a SS hat. You know why? Because no one wants to fucking see that. I don't have great self esteem, but I don't need to dress like a fox in order to feel more confident. Holy fucking moses, why do people do this?

That chick's hot, why does she need to dress like a fox to attract men. She is already a hot little minx, so why fuck around with that?

I really try to be open minded and accepting of almost any kink that appears, but fuck this. If you can't get off without a 6,000 dollar suit, that covers up the fact that you are a fat immature malcontent, then spend the money on therapy and plastic surgery. Buying a suit, that makes you look like a shitty 80's moscot, isn't going to help your appeal amongst people. As a matter of fact, it will probably just make you feel more isolated.

Oh, aren't they a happy couple. Except for the fact, that they only have furry friends. That's common, with most of the people in this community. Over emotional, a lack of social skills, and a detachment from reality. Basically, you have to be fucking off balanced to be one of these fucks.

"Well, it's because people don't accept us, Stephen."

Yeah, well, it's really fucking hard to take someone seriously, when they are dressed like a giant bull. Modern psychology, even backs me up on this. Safe BDSM roleplaying, is even encouraged as a means to healthily express someone's sexual nature. The whole reason why furries are frowned upon, is because they detach themselves constantly from reality. This isn't just a little kink in the bedroom, but a twisted Michael Jackson like desire, not to grow the fuck up.

It's time for me to have a Dr. Pepper and shut the fuck up. Take care.

The only thing i find worse than these vile "people" as i'll lightly put it are (most) Bronies. I understand if you are a 40 year old man fucked up in the head and watches my little pony whateverthefucksparkles, but if you jack it to that shit and make hentai with it,you deserve to have your genitals ripped off with a grappling hook,or forced to have a horse fuck you in the ass*see 2guys1horse for example,i don't recommend this*.
Silly Billy.

True enough, but we aren't trying to take cases to the supreme court, so we can wear gimp suits at McDonald's

There're a lot of things I don't personally share appreciation of or understand: the whole Brony fad, furries, or BDSM... but people can watch it, take part in it and enjoy it as much as they choose.  Whatever lifestyle they choose to live, great! happy for ya!

I don't take part in it and it doesn't affect me any... so I can look past being bothered by it and move on  :D

Just seems like there are more important issues in the world

As a huge Postal fan, brony, and furry (sort of) myself, allow me to give some insight.

1) As far as the furry fandom goes, not everybody dresses up in fursuits and has sex together. In fact, that makes up a very small percent of the culture, a culture that primarily celebrates techno music, well-done anthropomorphic art, and embracing every demographic of people (except for, y'know, pedos and rapists, but that should go without saying.) Shows like "CSI" and "My Strange Addiction" blow furries way out of proportion, and make everybody think people who appreciate the fandom are socially-inept retards who can't function without some kind of plushy suit to hide themselves. This is not the case.

2) "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" is a great show. Not for everybody, sure. Initially designed for little girls, definitely. But as the show wore on, it started slipping in more mature references, everything from games like "Metal Gear Solid" to movies like "The Big Lebowski." It's evolved into something that parents can watch with their kids and share a mutual enjoyment, something that adults can watch and appreciate the clever writing/artistry, and something that anybody of any age can get a few laughs from. It's not Shakespeare, nor is it trying to be. But there's a reason that it's attracted such a rabid fanbase, compounded with the fact that the brony/pegasister culture is very open and accepting.

In the end, it's all about what people choose to enjoy. People have given me shit for being a brony, for enjoying some aspects of furrydom, and for loving the living hell out of "Postal." But I keep on loving what I love, because letting myself be defined by what people think is stupid as all get-out. Just ask yourself this: do you think everybody loves "Postal"? They certainly don't. Does that make you like it less? Well, the fact that you're a member of this site should answer that question.

I may sound ignorant or closed minded in this response, please understand my cander and try not to get to pissed.

1. I know that sub-cultures go from 0-60. That wasn't the point, the point was just a general like of understanding as to why, grown ass people, would want to dress like animals to consort with each other. In the same respect, I don't like fans who cos-play either. I don't dress like the Postal dude in order to get some deep spiritual understanding how fucked up my life is.
Are sub-cultures misrepresented by the main stream?
Hell yes, I know this more than anyone else. Do I think, every person in a fur suit is out there simply to get their rocks off?
Certainly not all of them, you responded and sounded fairly intelligent. Yet again, this is the internet, and face-to-face communications might be lacking, so I don't know. Atleast, I can admit I don't know, but here is what doesn't attract me to this sub-culture. I also do this in a way of sowing disdain in a lot of sub-cultures including hipsters.

2. I don't recall saying anything about bronies/pegasister's or whatever the fuck. You feel connected to a TV show, and that's ok. I nevr said that feeling a connection to something is bad but when does this connection, stop you from enjoying age appropriate materials?
I like Disney movies, but it doesn't mean I worship at the temple of Walt. I also think, that any obsession, no matter what it is, could be dangerous because it does lock you out of whatelse is out there.
Do I give a flying fuck about grown ass men/women, watching a little kids cartoon, and enjoying it?
No I don't. I do care, if i starts to shift dynamics in an inappropriate way. We need a world full of ponies, like we need a world full of porn. That being said, I don't give a fuck about magical ponies.

I don't really get the whole furries thing. Because I don't understand it it seems silly to me. Yes the chick in the fox costume is pretty, but the costume reminds me of a sexy Halloween costume I would consider wearing for Halloween. To me these example pics look like Halloween photos.

What are Furries and all the furry kink? Well, I don't get it either. But I don't really bother or get offended by these. These are just harmless people donning in mascot outfit, and that's about it.

Still, I don't get it why the Ponies are some kind of funny trend anyway. I watched those when I was very young, but I don't see the appeal for the adults.

No, I don't think we are supposed to get along. I think discourse is nice,, it's even better when people don't agree. Eventually, it leads to something breaking and beaing created. With that in mind, I don't ever want complete peace, love, and hippie bullshit. That's boring and completely unrational. If you hate something, say something about it.
The PC era, of do your own thing and don't comment on what others do, is bullshit. It's why people are getting completely stupid across the board, as well as down right ignorant. You have to hate, before you can love.
