Xbox 360 Controller and DirectX 10
« on: May 30, 2012, 03:55:46 PM »
I tried using the Xbox 360 controller but I couldn't figure out how to reduce the sensitivity. I couldn't aim worth a crap.
Any way to fix this?

Also, I wanted to used DirectX10 in the game.
Is this possible?

Are you using xpadder or some similar program to bind your own control setup?  If so, just go in and adjust the mouse sensitivity.  That's what I did.

No. PIII uses dx9 ONLY.

open console and type:
exec 360controller

then create file /postal iii/p3/cfg/user.cfg to bind unbinded actions, open this file via notepad and paste text shown below:

Quote
exec 360controller
bind "LEFT" "invprev" // previous weapon
bind "RIGHT" "invnext" // next weapon
bind "DOWN" "itemnext" // "enhance"  weapon
bind "UP" "select_weapon weemote" // you can bind your favourite weapon or more
bind "Y_BUTTON"   "toggle_p3_mission_log" // mossion log
joy_inverty "1" // invert Y axis?
