Fun fact: I am a member of several bondage clubs. You meet the most interesting and intelligent people at bondage parties. That being said, they aren't much different than anyone that's a gamer or who is religious. You just have to notice the similarities at the base of all people and the things we love in life. A girl tied to a St. Andrew's cross pointed this out to me.Not the real woman, but a damn fine example
At one of these meeting, a woman shouted out,"It hurts like heaven." That was an obscure saying to me until I really sat down and thought about it. That it's the painful moments in our life, that we derive the most pleasure from and memories. With that in mind, I thought about gamers.
I soon connected most religions to this idea as well. That a pain free exsistance would be boring, because it's the release of pain that allows us to define what pleasure is. Any gamer from the 8-bit era, can tell you how very true this statement is. They are the ones, that are bitching about difficulty is to low and games are simply to accesible to the main stream.
Why would anyone want difficult games? The challenge it poses causes sleepless nights and endless frustrations. At the end of the day, it's the center of a lot of mental strain in a gamers life. So we find ourselves deriving pleasure from pain.
Every major religion, is centered around the concept of human suffering. We suffer now so we can have the eternal orgasm, that is Heaven. God or gods, whips us. After the brutal beating that life is, we get relief in the end. So religion is bondage and that's coming from a Catholic. We also shouldn't forget goofy costumes.
Yeah, yeah, everyone laughs at a gimp. Hell, I even laugh at gimps. It seems bizarre that the only way people can get off is by wearing something so goofy looking. I mean, it's not really that intimidating really, just kind of goofy.
First off, the Princess could pass as a lolita goth. Mario, looks like a skinny pervert who might try to butt fuck a donkey if no one is looking. Still, I digress, you have to have a goofy costume in order to be somewhat hardcore.
Here's my point. I have a hard time taking everything he says seriously. I keep wondering, if Priest and Cardinals get something cool for throwing something into the Pope's hat. Maybe, like a cookie or an extra communion wafer. I love communion wafers. My point is almost made except for the fact that even Mario is down with bonadge.
That's right, that's Mario in a gimp suit. We all need to understand that no matter where we come from or what we place value in, not everyone is going to get it. Not everyone is going to love what it is we do. I do hope that people can garner a little more respect to gaming, BDSM, and religion. They are all very cool thing, breathing life into what could be blaned.
Respect, is different than belief. You can be an anthiest and respect someone's view. I am a Catholic and have more non-Catholic friends, then I have Catholic friends. Do we have the same belief system? No, but we have a mutual understanding of give and take. That's all it takes really to create something interesting, wild, and orgasmic.
