Postal on Steam? (Postal 1 and 2)

Would It be possible to have Postal 1 and Postal 2 available via the steam store? Without any added features, just cause I like steam?

this is something I have mentioned time,and time again w/ toploader.. I'd love to see it as well.. I believe it's valve keeping it from happening tho..

I almost started a petition @ one point,can't remember why I didn't,but in any case,if someone was willing to start one,and pass it along to RWS,then on to Valve.. I'm sure it would help the case..

I'm sure it would be a big waste of time tbh guys, for the amount of sigs we will get and the amount Valve will care anyway.  After P3 hit steam we contacted them with a pretty good case for P2 being on Steam (things such as the game still gets supported, it having a Mac client ect ect) and they still didn't want it.

You should put some VALVe easter eggs in the game. Like one of the fat dudes having the Gaben beard and the hl3 shirt. Plus insert "hoopy" in there, they are desperate with making that a meme!

if the full postal series went on steam,i would buy them all again just because i can,but im sure if you offer Gabe Newell some cake,he would gladly oblige

Yeah, hell even I'd buy them on Steam. It's one of the points we made to Valve is many of those that own Postal 2 would do the same.

Good point though, for Gabe the cake is never a lie.

Postal 3 is on Steam, it'd only make sense for Postal and Postal 2/AW to also be on Steam.

Valve are an odd bunch, for example they will not take the recently released and highly successful Pinball Arcade by farlight studios.

You think they would be wanting to get more Linux native titles on Steam anyway now that they are getting ready to roll out a Linux client. Postal 2 would be a great offering (better sledge hammer, better zombies) alongside Serious Sam 3 and Left 4 Dead 2. 

But everything is working well for me with my copies off of Desura, which I prefer anyway.

Now we have Greenlight! Gamers can prove that they want to play Postal 2 through Steam.
Gaben will not resist adding the game!
