I once got contacted by the FBI with an urgent message.  Then I deleted it from my spam

I asked for it by filling out a FOIA form. I should have just moved on down the line but I thought maybe contacting this person would help. Obvisously they were just bored, lonely, and significantly over paid.

Yeah, but... but I was

lol ..  :P

It's really one of those things where I would like to post the email for everyone to read but I can't because of privacy issues. I can't give out this woman's business info without her permission. Since I don't have her permission then I can't publish the email.

This is the email I received from the FCC reguarding my FOIA request which lead me talking to the CIA's FOIA Desk Person who was really bored.

Dear Mr. Ardrey:

This is in response to your Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request electronically submitted to the Federal Communications Commission on April 17, 2012.

The Federal Communications Commission is a regulatory agency which is responsible for regulating interstate and foreign communications.  Thus, the records that you seek are not within the Commission's jurisdiction.

There is no central office in the government that processes FOIA requests for all federal agencies.  Each agency responds to requests for its own records.  The records that you seek may be in the possession of the Central Intelligence Agency.

Also, you can usually access the website for a federal agency by typing in the agencies initials followed by dot gov.

I have provided below, the principal FOIA contact for the office which may possess the records you seek.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

Sincerely,

I sorta agree with most of the people here : that chick was probably just lonely and wanting to make a conversation just to pass the time. I still think that she should work on her ppl skills just a tad bit more lol
