I know, another opinion piece but it's something I don't understand. I think the trend has gone to far in a certain direction. Now, before you point I am bashing an ex-employer, understand that I really hate some of these douche bags. So, here is a shitty LP video.

I Am Alive demo with Ray

Yeah, that's an LP of a demo. Ray, is also an arrogant censoring cock smoker. My biggest complaint from readers coming over from where I used to work has been there degree of censorship. That being said, Red Ghost Frog, KFM, and TJC, this one is for you. Well, it's also for a few others.

You see, I came up with some of the more conceptualized articles and I have those coming here as well. What exactly happened? Well, I think everyone has a right to know what these cock riding pricks have done and how it's common place in video gaming journalism.

The Early Days

When I first started there, I was working around the clock. I do the same here believe it or not but I am still unsure what the audience here wants besides tits. That's why I ask that if you read one of my pieces, tell me what you think or feel so I know what is going on. These are comission pieces and since your comissioning them, you have a right as to what I cover.

So around the time I started for them, I had some roommate issues. I lived in the French Quarter of New Orleans and really that's my home. The atmosphere is akin to that of the Dr. Hook song, Freakers Ball. So when I threw out to non-rent paying dead beats, they were of course pissed. They decided to get back at me by spamming articles and just being cocksuckers. Simple problem, simple solution.

The important thing, is to never get down on their level. Let them say what they want and move the fuck on.  No, people decided to get fucking stupid. Then came people actually liking what I was writing about. With this comes a certain jealousy.

Understand, I don't do a lot of reviews. I have reviewed some stuff for D-Dub because they haven't had enough notice for their creative efforts. By the way, check out BoneTown, it's fucking awesome. So when you have one type of reader coming for one type of piece and another coming for something else, heads will butt.

Online Drama and The Douche From Dubai

Now he says his forum has something like 40,000 users. I doubt this. I would put the number at about 5,000 and that's being pretty hefty. So he brought in people from his forums to write. I am a forum writer here but it's a different audience and let me explain.

The head editor decided to have an open writing contest. This flooded the site with subpar articles and really it was set up as a poor promotional gimmick. So what happened when my readers sent in articles?

Well, The Jess Concept, a reader who also does promotional work for the sites I work for. She did an interview with me which was never featured or taken into consideration. She has had some health issues and I hope she gets better soon. When she made any comment against other staff, it got deleted.

I don't tell people what the fuck to do. I don't even have controll of my Twitter, TJC handles that. When she called one of the editors on his bullshit, she got banned. Same thing happened to Red Ghost Frog, sex_machine_2003, and K_F_M who is just known as mouse on these forums.

The Building Of A Breakdown

I am going to tell everyone, I am not always a homerun hitter. I do some good stuff and I do some bad stuff. I atleast try to diverege from the regular bullshit I see on the net. From this came Source of Controversy, Religion and Gaming, as well as some profiles on gamers. I am atleast not doing endless reviews on games when people can get better ones from Amazon.

Everyone is a reviewer now. That's one of the benfits of the internet. The issue is that reviews, don't make a journalist. It makes you a reviewer and most of these guys are horrible. As well as bitching about how many games they personally own.

Not all of my readers have the expendable income to go out and buy 6 or 7 games at a time. Most are honestly lucky to get 2 or 3 a year. I respect this and I can understand that not having expendable income can be a set back. I don't see gamers as a whole sitting around bitching about how they have to many games. So people told the douch who wrote that atrocity what they thought.

Then they were deleted and replaced with a bunch of generic like comments and other people going,"OMG this is exactly my fucking problem."

Yeah, so it builds and builds. As people get negative comments, they have to blame someone. Oh yeah, blame the mother fucker who helped bring in your readers in the first place. In their paranoia and jealousy, they began to flame everything I wrote. Including a piece about an abused child from Cambodia.

Legal Threats And Other Shit

It came to a head about a week before I came here. I am not going to appology for anything I am not personally responsible for. If something is my fault, I will take a knee and admit what I did wrong. What I did wrong in this whole scenario, is trusting them in the first place.

I trust Vince and the moderators here. I have trust in them because I am sure if they have an issue, they will come to me like men instead of a bunch flamboyant assholes who think they know what they are doing. They wouldn't listen, wouldn't take an apology or explanation, so there for fuck them.

I had to take some action when they started making post and statements using my name. Including a fake apology for spamming peoples articles which never happened. I decided to draw my line in the sand. I threatened legal action.

They fired me for threatening legal action but really, it was necessary. I work my ass off and to have these douche bags try to piss on my back while whipping, I couldn't take it. I was reaching the point where I was about to go to San Diego and jack off in the streets. It still continues.

I haven't been back to the site I used to work at since I came here. There isn't a reason too but here comes the problem again. They have 31 pieces of mine they are going to release without my permission and some of them were written for this site and not theirs. Also they have put an embargo on my readers and get pissed when they tell each other to come here.

So this past Tuesday comes, and they are emailing me again telling me to post an article telling my fans to stop. Telling me I don't have a readership base and that I did nothing for them. Now tonight, I get an email from a reader telling me they are having other writer's doing pieces I created. That's kind of fucked up double talk considering they insist I don't have readership based there but alright.

For My Readers

I do have to appology to my readers and to those I interviewed while I was there. I should have left a lot earlier and given them the grand fuck you. I should have addressed this earlier but I really try to ignore drama. It's not my style to get into this type of things but after they have called you guys sock puppets, freaks, sickos, psychos, and degenerates. I should have done a lot more. I also didn't want the new readers to be dragged into this either.

I needed to clear the air. My readers, are a second family to me. They make these pieces as much as I do. That's why I love internet journalism over traditional print. You take part in shaping how this all turns out. I will never ask a moderator here to delete a comment. I know the Douchbag from Dubai and his clown dick pals will read this and want to start something but I don't fight with children.

Ray, Cookie Monster, MasJ, MiLady, and the rest of the haters over there, eat a dick. Really, give me an address and I will mail one to you. Your a bunch of generic, dick riding, pussies who can't hang. Maybe, if banged the keys a little more and pulled your pud less. Maybe, then you can fucking hang. This is a big boys sport, unless you can deal with sleepless nights and doing the dirty work. Get out and stay the fuck out. Your not doing me or the industry any favors censoring the real gamers.

To the new readers, I love you guys. Even more than that, I respect you. You may think this is a rant from a teary eyed stoner but really in this first week, I have felt more at home here than on any other site. So don't be afraid to share and if there is a subject you want me to cover, ask me.

I just felt it was appropriate to give everyone another angle. As a supposed journalist you should be aware that it's impossible to get any facts out of a one sided story. The reality of a situation is often the point at which views overlap. I exist to provide a complementary bias with which people can make up their own minds. Take it or leave it.

I should add that Stephen's outbursts got really bad during that aforementioned contest. To elaborate, the contest was for the best article and the normal writing staff were also encouraged to participate. It was then put to a public poll about which article was best. When a user submission beat out the writing staff, they all took it in stride. Stephen just went back to threatening everyone with legal action.

We all find it plenty hilarious actually. Not only are my sides splitting at the idea that he thinks disagreeing with him constitutes slander, he does little else in his articles besides threaten and slander various people. As someone with an actual background in literature I can appreciate the irony. Stephen is probably reaching for a dictionary or calling a Missouri lawyer right about now.

Furthermore, I can assure you that if I were trying to talk anyone into suicide (screenshot or it didn't happen) I'd be sure to tell them to go down the street and not across the road. I wouldn't call the death of an emo-kid a big loss to the world at large.

The fact that his IP problem mysteriously vanished once we mentioned it, however, was quite a deal easier to read. Sadly Stevie boy here doesn't quit grok that there's other ways to tell where a user is logging from. Supposing this forum has sufficiently advanced software I'm sure the evidence will speak for itself.

Tut tut Michael, I thought you liked conversing with a mysterious but strangely familiar poster who exists solely to belittle your statements. Why else would you have subjected so many to it? We played along by responding seriously to them, even when they got overly insulting. Surely this isn't another area where you can dish it out but find yourself unable to take it? I figured you might even get a little chuckle out of the choice of username. You'd be surprised how much research us "small boys" can put into our work. We just cut a lot of the pretense of which you're clearly so proud.

I think the important question to ask here is 'why did these people have power'? Is it because of a supposed boy's club mentality where they were unable to accept any outsiders. Or was it instead that they showcased their talents, maturity, and ability to conduct themselves in a positive manner. And maybe, just maybe, you weren't. Surely if they were so adamant about censorship they wouldn't be allowing anyone to write and submit articles for public display. You're not even the only non-forum goer to regularly write for it, for that matter. Please tell me, why is it that the one and only person to ever mention this censorship is you? That's a question mark. You might want to learn to use those.

Mr. Ardrey here subscribes to the notion that it's only free speech as long as it agrees with him. Not only is this line of thought incredibly backwards but it's downright dangerous. As a forum dedicated to games that can only exist because the constitution (or your local equivalent) allows anyone to agree or disagree with whatever they want, surely you all realize what sort of crime against society is occurring here.

If my words are not enough, then I say go ahead, do some independent research. Check TGV for instance. You will not see one single article slamming Stephen, RWS, or any of his affiliates. Wayback machine it if you want. There's nothing to find because it's not there. And it never was. What we have here is someone who was rightly terminated for a complete inability to keep his cool and is now peddling his lies to anyone who'll lend him bandwidth.

EDIT- Might I add that 200 dollars is not actually necessary for Microsoft Office. This is the internet. Price is always negotiable. There's also the sufficiently awesome OpenOffice and every browser ever with a built-in spell checker. This is, of course, the sort of basic leg work any writer would be willing and able to do. Or, hell, anyone with the technical know-how of an 8th grader. . It might have been a short edit but I can assure you it speaks volumes about his "credentials". By his own logic, people shouldn't be involved in fields within which they show any level of ignorance. For instance, he advocates that if Seanbaby can't tell you every minute detail about a game, that means he is unqualified to be a gaming journalist. As such I recommend the immediate cessation of all internet use by one Stephen Michael Ardrey.

 Although Ray has a point about OpenOffice. You should totally download it if you have problems with your spelling

So yeah, good stuff. Also if anyone asks why there's nothing incriminating in EP about them you can tell them it's because they fucking deleted it all (it's their own site, it should be abvious at this point). In places where they can't delete crap at will (FB) they resort to idiotic inhumane shit like "No big deal if someone kills himself". Fuck Ray.

Hey DOUCHE! It's me K_F_M am I still a figment of anyone's imagination??? Haha!   Bet you didn't think you'd be hearing from me again did you??  You need to stop acting like a spoiled two year old having a tantrum because nothing is going the way you want!  Not everyone is going to want to do a boring review.  I think a variety of pieces is great as it makes a site more interesting and fun for readers. If it's just review after review after review etc....... I get bored very quickly. Also you need to learn how to take constructive criticism when it's given not act like your two and delete or belittle anyone. 
Did you really thinking deleting comments was going to win you any favors? That just makes you look like the two year old douche you are.   Before you criticize walk in their shoes. Stephen really has worked his ass off writing those pieces and has stayed up all night. To be a true journalist you have to make sacrifices and put yourself out there.
