Postal X DVD linux install

I recently purchased the 10th anniversary DVD and im running ubuntu 11.04 I tried to install the game and I got this error.

Then I Found this guide over at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1352255

# 1. Copy linux_installer.sh from the DVD to some location where you have write access, e.g. I did:

$ cp linux_installer.sh $HOME/

# 2. Open linux_installer.sh in an editor, and in line 13, change "keep=n" to "keep=y"

# 3. Run linux_installer.sh normally

# 4. Go to /tmp/postal_fudge_pack_installer

# 5. Open "setup.sh" in an editor, and in linux 267, change "try_run setup.gtk2 $args $*" to "try_run setup.gtk $args $*"
But when I get to step #3 I run into this problem and cant get any further.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

As I understand it the build on the 10th is a little outdated and Ryan has since updated it to work better with modern Linux. Send me a picture of your 10th box with your forum name written on a bit of paper in a PM and I'll get you sorted with the updated build which you can download.

I'm having a similar problem with the Postal Fudge Pack. Running Ubuntu 12.04. Would you be able to provide an updated installer? I can also send a picture of the box if you need it.
