I am having some issues with this old G3 Mac, what would cause it to freeze when using Microsoft Office 2004?

I've never owned a Mac so i couldn't tell you, probably because the mac is ancient,or Microsoft office is a Windows only program.

Apple and Windows, did some cross agreement stuff so that Mac users could get Microsoft office. It opens, and operates fine, then it just freezes. It also only has a 400MHZ processor. I know it was an old school computer.

Try an older version of Microsoft Office?

Hey StephenArdrey,

Office likes to have it's own eventviewer, I'm not sure how this MAC version handles this.

Try to find the office eventviewer or something like procmon for mac and you should be able to find out easily where it crashes.

Hope that helps,
