How does the Postal 3 DRM work?
« on: April 01, 2012, 09:59:13 PM »
My girlfriend reinstalled the game for me since I had to reinstall Windows she told my I used last activation or something. Does this mean when i buy a new PC I can no longer play Postal 3?

If I recall correctly you should be granted a new activation every three days.

As much as I hate to use old threads, I never get activations and I only use one computer.
I haven't been able to play the game I bought in December since January.

Why would you even include DRM ?
I mean it only hurts the legit gamers who buy the game, the "pirate" just gets t his game clean of this shit and doesn't suffer like the poor legit gamer.

And look at gog or all the kickstarter projects, they have no DRM and they are doing great.

We could not agree more actually.  All products RWS have ever published (such as the Fudge pack and the digital downloads from our store) contain no DRM.  Akella, the Publishers of Russian Postal (formally known as Postal 3) refuse to remove the DRM despite our efforts to reason with them.
