Considering the fact that Akella won't be able to avoid bankrupcy for ever, is there any plan about buy the P3 license and fix the game ?

Akella's refused many times, unfortunately. To fix P3 would be to pretty much have to build a whole new game to the original design specs, not really worth it. I'd rather see RWS put that effort into an entirely new sequel to P2.
There is no point to forum signatures. That's why I wrote one.

They already own it. Postal in its entirety is property of RWS. Akella just refuses to let them have the source code. Without that they would have to code the game entirely from scratch. They do have all of the art assets, but that isn't much.

Thing is that to make Postal 3 as it was intended, you'd have to make it one hell of a mod. The game as-is just isn't very fun or engaging, the whole thing is linear. Most of the intended stuff was just flat out cut.

Why would anyone want to go back to this? It's just an awful spinoff that's better being outdone by a real sequel.
