Nah.
Akella have already claimed they will not remove the entirely pointless DRM because 'it helps them track what's being sold', and GoG will rightfully not take games with crippleware attached to it.

Perhaps one day Akella will put their games on GOG.com but at the moment that seems rather unlikely...also, in the crippled state Postal 3 is in at the moment I doubt GOG.com would bother adding it to their catalogue.

That is cool. If I was not so massively backlogged with things to play (and have sworn not to buy any more games until I've somewhat cleared it) I'd be all over this. Good to see a pretty recent game (on the PC at least) make it to gog DRM free, for a good price too.

It's great to see more recent titles being made available on GoG.com, Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare were quite surprising to see being made available on GoG.com.
No kidding, I opened my browser and saw the great big Alan Wake banner and was like 'wait, what?!' then a few hours later I open up GoG.com again and see another banner for Alan Wake's American Nightmare and found myself surprised yet again.
I've already played through Alan Wake but I might just get it on GoG.com, I'll definantly pick up American Nightmare though as I've yet to play it because I was waiting for a PC version of it to be released.
It seems GoG.com also has a promotion going on at the moment.

Damn,i missed out on the free fallout...I'm more of a steam fanboy but hate the drm (and the fact you own a LICENSE to use the software, not the software itself),i tried installing a retail copy of gta4 offline last week and just gave up because the SecuRom on it takes like a million steps to activate (not to mention the social club and games for windows live crippleware),i might migrate to Desura and GoG a little more over the summer.

I actually avoid Steam now where possible, pretty much only using it if it's required for the game because of Steam Works. I'll either use GoG, Desura (even if it means waiting a while) or get it at retail.
I was locked out of my account once, no internet and the offline mode failed me, and it really hit home how not only do I not own the games, but I need Valve to give me permission to play them. This model should not be supported as the sole means of being able to obtain games.

I've never had any issues with steam, other than their rather outdated chat/features..I do try to back my games up on dvd from time to time.. I also have a netbook that's been running in offline mode for like two years..anyway..I don't mind desura, and gog,but I do prefer steam..

Don't get me wrong, it was once in the 5 years I've been doing it it's happened so hardly a major issue, but was somewhat of an eye opener. There are also stories of people having their account locked because PayPal have rejected payments ect. I think the main thing is how much the community features mean to you, in my case, absolutely nothing, so all that's left is a layer of DRM (often extra to other DRM in games like Games for Windows live).
That said, one place Steam as caught my attention of late is the Steam workshop. It really seems to be bringing back the idea of more games being moddable which is something I wholeheartedly support. I miss the good old days where almost all games that came out for the Unreal Engine had an editor packed with it as standard.

I recommend Redneck Rampage. It's got a sick sense of humour which reminds me of Postal. I had been thinking of trying to get Redneck Rampage running in DOS Box under LINUX for old time's sake but GOG looks like it makes it easy for those of us who are lazy or don't have time to tweak emulator settings etc.
