how about nowaday development of the game? (patches, planned dlc, enhancements etc)

By reading information marked as untrusted on russian Postal III wikipedia page, the RWS (not TM) now working on multiplayer addon. It's true or not?

Information about game development news is really actual

I guess it was only a matter of time before someone asked this dreaded question.

It kills me to tell you there is actually no news.  None.  If there was I'd be posting it like crazy.  With the new site launching, the only thing worth talking about is Postal 2.

I guess there is news, none of it good. Akella have laid off TM,  they have not released the SDK either to the public OR RWS (as much as we want it) due to various reasons I'm yet unable to elaborate on.  They are not going to patch out the DRM despite all this.  Things look pretty bleak.

If RWS do manage to get the SDK,  I'd use it to help fix some ingame problems and maybe improve the freeroam, add in user made content into a community patch ect, and there's some small hope for that.  But don't expect any more updates or patches coming from Akella. There will never be any multiplayer.

Is it possible that by using the SDK we can do a total conversion, or modify it to include multiplayer?  :)

We prolly need to bug and pressure that Akella to come up with the SDK too.

With an SDK a total conversion would be no problem.  MP, well, possible.

We are of course onto Akella for a SDK, it's just looking less likely by the month.  It does not help Trash Master no longer exist.

TM releases very bad games. I'm don't understand why it worked till now...

Postal III is a most good game from TM.

I'm very sad. RIP TM.

A few of them are still apparently working from home, but most have other jobs and none are getting paid.  The SDK could have really given this game future and prolonged it's sales well into the future, not releasing it is frankly retarded.

Maybe when they remain without alcohol, they get  awake, get to proper sense  and release the SDK.
BUT
I remember  a user from the old forum which had a way to access "somekind of a" SDK.

I'm sorry for overposting but:

TM is dead, akella moderators doesn't answer on any questions about postal III. All answers and solutions on russian forum is only from small community. for example, FAQ is created only by me and nobody wants to help me  :'( nobody from ex- trashmasters developers doesn't have any posts on forum (including Andrew Belkin).

and now I have some requirements to akella:

1) delete DRM from steam version of postal III
2) allow to release pre-beta resources (of course, not engine binary or source. only models, sounds, textures etc)
3) give back all development and publishing rights to RWS if akella don't want to develop and support the game!
4) stop the stupid tricks

Who wants to create online petition to akella??

That's all... I have had enough :'(

Yes it's very sad.  Akella have really hurt RWS and fucked over the entire Postal community.  Even as someone that works with RWS, I'd just rather forget Postal 3 happened.
