Just bought Postal 2 STP - no joy on Windows 7

Hey,
just bought Postal 2 STP and installed it from the disk (bought off Amazon, genuine disk). I'm getting that error where you're told repeatedly to restart your computer. Is this fixable, or have I just been screwed out of my money?
Thanks in advance!

Not fixable on any OS other than Windows XP, but if you post a picture of your game, along with vdichotomy1 written on a bit of paper, I'll get you a Steam key.

It's definitely not Windows, i run 7 Pro on my Game beast....functions flawlessly, i get the occasional crash in game, but that has happened on multiple OS's , best of luck in getting yours working, its a blast !

Sorry I should of elaborated, it's a problem with the old retail disks and the horrible DRM they used, they will not install to any PC after XP. Digital downloads and the fudge pack are fine. It's not really the fault of the seller on Amazon market, unless the are advertising it to work on Vista and 7.

Thanks for the key, is it for Steam? I thought Postal 2 wasn't allowed on Steam? Or is it Desura I need to go to?

It's a Steam key, we passed a Greenlight back in September.

Well I have another possible solution, creepy but at least could work.
You could try to use a XP Virtual Machine and install it there, then copy all the files installed to your main computer disk and then overwrite the Free MP version on that, that way you would have the latest (or almost latest) Version of the game and the singleplayer from the files you installed on the VM.
Sorry for not elaborate it more, hopefully this will be enought.
Good luck, and have fun ^^.
