The Linux version of POSTAL 2 is now ready for download.  If you already have POSTAL 2 on your Steam account, then you already own the Linux (and also Mac) version via Steam play.

Should be sorted soon, and should be cross platform, so if you wanna switch to Linux during a playthrough, you can!

Hello, who should I consult to getting a steam key for Postal, as I own it on GOG and would love to play on Linux? I can prove that I have purchased it and I remember reading somewhere that you can request steam keys. I might be wrong, if so, nevermind.

Yeah owning it on GoG is not enough to claim a free Steam version (as this comes with free Mac and Linux clients, the GoG is windows only, and cheaper to reflect that). We do however reward active members of this forums over time though.

I have a laptop with Optimus technology.  Intel HD3000 and nVidia GT540M. Linux Mint 14 Nadya installed. When I'm trying to run postal 2 with intel video I have performance issues (low FPS on big levels), but with GT540M all works fast, perfectly and glitches-free (with nvidia-experimental-310 driver from official repository). Multiplayer also works fine and lags-free. Thanks a lot!

Yeah works great on Nvidea GPU's at least, they did some magic with the new drivers.  The MP also runs well, but it's a shame there is no V-sync (that I'm aware of) for the Linux version as this really reduces lag online.
