Haha, regional soda vocabularies are quite humorous, but I've got to say, I lived in both New York and Chicagoland and in neither place have I heard anyone say anything besides "pop" to refer to carbonated soft drinks. It is fun to think about though!

To be totes sincere, I'm not much of a beer man myself. Let me say this, though. It's obvious why they make malt liquor so cheap! Sometimes I wanted to puke (from disgust, not drunkenness) when I drank that stuff. It's like, yeah, I feel like a rap guy, sitting on the corner in a lawn chair. But I don't want to sip aimlessly for ninety minutes and not feel anything! I'm not trying to be sober, Montell Williams. I'm trying to get my drunk on! (In the parlance of our times). I've puked violently from several types of alcohol, except beer. That should tell us all something. In other words, unless it makes you vomit, you should not partake. Yeah, I know I sound like a bit of a fascist here, concerning alcohol, but a man has to have principles. My favorite drink is-- though I'm not a drinker currently because I have a steady supply of cannabis sativa-- I would say, not to sound cliched, Jack and coke. Yeah, I know everyone orders that on poorly written TV shows, but guess what, it's a good drink to me, and I'd recommend it to everyone
