I don't know why there's so much hate towards AMD. I love my HD6950. It runs just as good as an equivalent Nvidia card, sometimes better. ATI has really been picking up the slack over the past few years.

I love my ATI/AMD setup as well..I don't play favorites tho,just go with which ever offers best bang for buck @ the time I need the parts..

That's not entirely true..The thought of P2HD has been around long before you guys started this..(hell, we've ported tons of shit to UT3 some time ago,and you know this.)& has been discussed amongst us all many times..Annnnyway..Thing is Postal is RWS's IP. Basically Desi has last say what happens with Dude..If it's agreed you can use it,then you can..I can't say I don't disagree about money exchanges,etc tho..I've took donations for postal related stuff in the past,but only after something finished was offered,not to fund it initially..(Never asked anyone to take a risk on me finishing something.)

I realized after writing this that I made a mistake, that RWS however planned this before

but I think I still have a point

RWS has not announced that they are working on it until we started working on P2UDK

TBH.. If it hadn't of been mentioned in that interview,it prolly still wouldn't have been talked about..

Yeah, but it will be pre included on the disk at launch to save you having to download it when it's released.

This isn't entirely true.. It WILL be on one of the 6 uncompressed disk,but Steam WILL require you to re-download all 56 gigs of it..

That's not going to fly well.

Shit. Postal 2 has tons of these type mods already (esp in MP 90% of maps are UT ports)..No one seems to mind.. So long as credit is giving and money isn't trying to be made..It's not a big deal..

In fact RWS loves to see mods in other games that have Dude in it.. (As long as money isn't involved)

Good luck with your mod m8..hope you find the team you need.

Code Tutorials using Unreal Script for POSTAL 2

You must be running the new Share the Pain version of POSTAL 2 for any of this to be relevant. Using these tutorials with older code may cause you problems.



These tutorials were written to be completed in succession with one another. If you jump ahead to a later tutorial, I will be discussing things from earlier tutorials that you may not recognize. Following each one in order should greatly improve your learning experience.

If you don’t have the full Unreal Script source code for POSTAL 2 STP, download it here:

Unzip these files to your POSTAL 2 directory (not the system directory).



These tutorials were written assuming you already know how to program somewhat. They also assume a good knowledge of events in POSTAL 2 the game, and general terms used in Unreal-based games. There’s lots of information on using working in games if you want to brush up on that first. Don’t worry though—these tutorials start very slowly. They don't have flashy pictures though, so if you need visuals... look on the internet or something. These are straight instructions on how to code in POSTAL 2.
