Actually I'd say the majority of the negative comments were from people not liking the new third person perspective, which personally never bothered me. The early build did have a grimier, darker feel that got lost in translation.

I bought the boxed version and to be perfectly honest... it's not really worth it. Its a DVD case with some cover art (which is cool, but you can see it online for free) and a few discs, you don't get any additional content.
