It's the full version, the final three levels are integrated into the main game now, so you'll play those when you get to the end of the original level.

I have no idea if the Xmas patch will install to it, never tried myself.

Oh, I've wanted to see an invasion mod for some time now. We have no problem you releasing this as a stand alone, but you might limit your players somewhat over making it more of a plugin for STP which allows people to join and download via a redirect.

Still, I'll install and try and catch your server online to check it all out!

No worries! As I say, it should have been  seamless transition from Steam we just missed out a finer detail. It might of even helped a bit over all, we posted news about the update that might have caught some peoples eye and encouraged them to try the MP again.

Good to hear :) Hope you can make a nice implementation of it, maybe place the weapons in the world using our Copy to Script feature

Or simply use mutators and .int files to replace current weapons in the world.

Yeah this was an oversight by us, we actually intended to have it so there was a total cross over, so no one would have even noticed the servers going down.  We've been busy with Paradise lost so didn't actually notice it was not the case when the GS servers went down.  Should be fixed tonight, and we'll even post news about it on Steam.

We did it right away,

ServerActors=IpDrv.UdpServerUplink MasterServerPort=27900

is in the Steam version's .ini. Does it not work for you?

EDIT: Okay yeah, the info is there but it's not reaching the master server for some reason, we'll look into it.

how do you know he didnt take down the mod to repair it though...

Because right after the competitions results, he stopped the mod working working for everyone (rather than just remove it or make it non public) with a texture displayed to all staying he's abandoned the mod because RWS don't support him, which is simply not true we'd be glad to support his wonderful effort.

All good, totally his call, just a shame.

It is indeed an impressive mod.

He has no reason to feel disrespected though, and to punish fans of his work an lashing out at RWS was an odd reaction, when the only reason he didn't was because of a rule that was made clear. As I said in the other thread, if he removes the content that belongs to other games, allows us to help him get it working for everyone by working out the crashing issue many got, and resubmits to workshop, we'd be happy to give him a belated joint first place.


Congrats to A-mod, loved the Pigeon Hunter Mission.

So, what happened to the Project Marica mod? It broke the rules and the author got all butthurt and removed it?

Sadly it seems that way, I think there was probably more to it though (the mod would crash many peoples PCs on launch, mine included, and he might have not known how to fix it do decided to remove it, although we'd have probably helped him with that).
