Check it, yo
About the Moviehttp://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1544635303/postal-2
POSTAL 2 will finally destroy the filmindustry and the world we are living in. We could name the movie also HONEY BOOBOO must die ....but so many people deserve to die. Why starting with a child? Did Osama die? We know. And why the Navy Seals were too stupid to land a helicopter on a free field? Why did Building 6 collapse? We explain. Why is Obama is like Bush? We show you.
Where the money goes
The money goes all for cocaine for the stars down the nose.
Risks and chances
The Risk is: Everybody will hate you but the NRA will love you in being part of POSTAL 2. Our bodycount will be higher as Hiroshima and Dancing with the Stars combined.
And dont forget: September 11 didnt count because Mohammad Atta took the same steroids as Lance Armstrong. But he never lied about it.
The chance is: Support the movie and show this way that you think what we think: Karl Marx and George Orwell were right. We dont live in a democracy and we are getting screwed over by politics every second of our days. Till the Dude with the Hammer and the Magnum comes.

Law360, New York (June 12, 2013, 7:28 PM ET) -- Video game developer Apogee Software Ltd. claims Gearbox Software LLC owes it more than $2 million in unpaid royalties and advance payments after Gearbox bought rights related to Apogee's "Duke Nukem" video game, according to a breach of contract suit filed Friday in Texas state court. http://duke4.net/news.php?extend.603
Apogee, which does business as 3D Realms Entertainment, says Gearbox has failed to pay the money under the terms of a 2010 purchase agreement the companies inked, and claims the company has also barred 3D Realms from conducting an independent audit of the royalties Gearbox has earned.
“3D Realms has therefore been required to file this lawsuit to enforce the purchase agreement, to recover the amounts due and owing from Gearbox and to enforce the audit right provided by the agreement to enable it to conduct an audit of Gearbox's royalties,” the complaint says.
Gearbox on Wednesday emphatically denied the allegations in 3D Realms' complaint.

What's peoples opinion of F2P titles? Personally I hate the whole concept of it (squeezing cash from the consumer..)
I've seen that after Crysis 3 and Homefront 2 Crytek is exclusively working on free2play games http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2012/06/08/crykey-crytek-moving-to-f2p-for-good/
I hope that not all publishers catch on and start this free2play craze in which singleplayer campaigns are non-existant and multiplayer is a series of continuous microtransactions for trivial things like reloading or getting a new skin for a gun.

Recently a website called Kickstarter has been used to fund a few videogame remakes and sequels, most notably the remake of Leisure Suit Larry in Land of the Lounge Lizards and the sequel to the 1988 title Wasteland, Wasteland 2.
Now, with these Kickstarters being extremely successful in raising the funds needed to develop the videogames an idea has come to mind...why not start a Kickstarter to fund a remake of the original POSTAL?
Use this thread for discussion regarding whether or not you think a POSTAL remake Kickstarter would be successful, would you contribute money to a Kickstarter and so forth.

Thread title is descriptive of what this thread is focusing on: people who say they can't tell the difference between Blu-Ray and DVD in terms of audio and visual quality.
I had a friend of mind over at my house the other day and played a few minutes of the Quantum of Solace Blu-Ray on my PC, crystal clear as you'd expect...then I play a couple of minutes of my GoldenEye DVD from the early 2000s that has less then average DVD quality. My friend claimed he couldn't tell the difference in quality between the two.
Any of you guys know people like this?

Topic title says it all. I've watched several Uwe Boll films recently including Postal, Rampage and 1968 Tunnel Rats and they aren't really that bad.
From what I've heard his earlier films were rather bland and boring but having viewed a couple of his more recent films it appears that his films are becoming progressively better, Rampage is a great example of this. It's actually a pretty damn good movie that myself and my friends thoroughly enjoyed.
What do you guys think, are Uwe's films getting better?
